Renegade Crashes [message #268767]

Alright. My Renegade crashes randomly now. It was fine before i went to college but since i have been on break and been back, it has crasehs at random times. Sometimes it can go for hours. Or Sometimes mins. What happens is that my game starts to freeze then it crashes and a error message says that the game.exe has encontered a error. When i try to start up ren the screen says renegade and shit then goes black like it will start but then the error comes up taht says taht game.exe has encountered a problem. The only way i can get aroudn this to play is to restart my computer. Then i can join the game but its annoying when i have to restart every time my ren crashes. Have any ideas?

Do you have scripts 3.4? If so, immediately head over to this thread: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=24778&start=0&rid=3 134

Scripts 3.4 had a massive memory leak that crashed the game in a matter of minutes.

I thought it might be a script but it started way before i downloaded anything to ren like a core patch or anything. It would just crash randomly. Sometimes it will not crash at all. Idk if its the game has jsut become old or what.

Also i should just ass that idk what script i have. I have not downloaded anything except Core patch 1 and 2 and the uber map pack and thats all i have downloaded to renegade.

Still did not work. I downloaded script 3.4.1 like you said. I played for about a hour sunday with nothing wrong. It worked perfect. Today(sunday) i played for 15 mins and it crashed. Huh
