wat is the newest and the most stable cause my renegade is crashing like 3 times every single day...

Well, which version do you have? 3.4.1 is the latest, and is pretty stable.

i DLed it and when it starts up it says DL the newest DirectX so i did and it still says that reinstall Ren like 3 times and it keeps doing to over and over... now Renegade is making use a disk wow..

the cd is being prompt for because you over written the core patchs. Another fix: update your video card, sound card drivers.

Edit: also make sure your card CAN support directx 9. Do the diadax test to make sure. If your card can't download sripts 2.9.2 . or one that doesn't require direct x 9
