ok my title is a bit strange but what i ment was first can someone give me a link to a download or something for a ren program that lets you mod your own character, you could in one way use the modding tools but i dont really want to do that. i just mean how do u make your own skin? can someone give me a download i can use to make a skin and perhaps some instructions?. The reason i wanted this is because i wanted to find out how to make my own characters and use them in a mod i though of. The mod was, Command and Conquer Renegade Tiberium wars. where gdi soldiers like officers could be zone troopers and perhaps special nod troopers could be the nod black hand flame throwers. i have not given to much information about it because i just thought of it. if you can can you give any suggestions towards this? ty

The only modding tools are the renegade public tools however there are several sub programs that allow you to extract things from the always.dat etc etc

I prefer RenegadeEx to extract files. To make a custom skin you will need to extract the original and then put the new one in the data folder but make sure to keep the original name.
