is there gonna be a renegade 2? becuase all the sites i go to they dont tell me wether or not. so whats happenning?

I don't know how authentic this claim is. I'm usually involved in a lot of the "internal talks" between mods, especially within the C&C community. I've got eyes in a lot of companies, mods, clans, etc.
Most likely there won't be a Renegade 2, I've already given up hope. But believe me there is a good chance of the development of another C&C FPS (probably not Rene2). Just not soon.

I think I seen OWA talk about it, But like I said, It's not confirmed, And I highly doubted it, Too much work would go into planning it. (Story Line, Models, etc etc etc.)
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

This is what I suspect also...a FPS in the C&C universe and not necessarily the revival of the "failed" Renegade.

How many actually get used?
By my count basically one, APB and last I heard that consists of a single server? It will never happen.

What was so bad about Generals? Way better than Tib Sun, RA2 and their expansions. Not as good as C&C95 or Renegade, certainly, and probably about on a par with RA1

EA has already said (and I've already told you) that it's not outside the realm of possibility to see them make a C&C-based FPS. We won't know about it until there's a press release on the matter since EA is a publicly-traded company.

I really dont think that there would be a Renegade 2, they have held it off, of havent tried working on it yet. I think the renegade community is dieng to quick for them to be motivated to make Renegade 2, besides there working on improving CNC3 to be the best game out there.

I guess Tib Sun, Firestorm, RA2 and YR, despite being utter shit, deserve the C&C title more than the decent game that is Generals simply because the lore is more consistent (in Tib Sun's case, anyway... RA2 has nothing C&C-universe about it)

TS and RA2 kicked Generals ass big time. Generals wasn't very crap, but I don't consider it a Command and Conquer game. It doesn't fall under the storyline, and didn't have any of the classic C&C attributes (sidebar, cutscenes, acting, etc)

How so? It plays well, is being patched fairly frequently and has Joe Kucan in it. A game with Joe Kucan in it is automatically win. I also find the skirmish gameplay very replayable. Sure, there are bugs here and there but what PC game doesn't have those? Also, most of the major gaming review sites at least gave it an 80% or higher.
