Every 15-20 minutes while playing Renegade, I get the "gameplay pending" green text on my screen. I can play Warcraft for an entire day and not disconnect once, but nearly EVERY game of Renegade I drop from the server (but I'm still connected to WOL). I'm currently using cable internet through a router. I've tried port forwarding and disabling Windows Firewall - nothing worked. I have Kapersky anti-virus, and am using Windows Vista (but I did have the same problem on XP). Please help =(

Renegade never worked with my router. Then I upgraded my router's firmware and it worked. You should try it. (But make sure you write down your router's settings, upgrading will probably reset it!)

When you say it didn't work, do you mean you couldn't connect at all? Or do you mean you randomly drop like I do?

Alright I got 10 bucks that you all have linksys routers and get cut off between 10-20 minutes. So first off, as already mentioned update your router's firmwire. Second for linksys routers go to this site http://192.168.1.1 and the password is admin, unless you changed it. Then go to advanced and find DMZ host or anything with DMZ. Set it to 100 or 101. This has always worked for me and my friends and got rid of that disconnecting crap. Let me know if you have any problems

The Internet is plagued with random disconnects.
Several months ago, I would frequently get disconnected from the n00bstories server just as you described. I stopped playing Renegade for a month or two, and when I resumed play, the problem was gone.
