Toggle SpoilerIt was very odd for me, Ive been watching Lost from day one. On Wednesdays I shut off everything and have even banned friends after they IM'ed me during the show. I always wait the extra hour to get the HD Commercial Free version from usenet so I send out an APB when I start and oh boy I'm pissed if I get interrupted.
Basically what I see on this final episode is that it's going to be 3 seasons trying to get off the island and three seasons trying to get back.
The show goes off the air in 2009-2010? One of those but I would be very disappointed if they are going to do it that way.
John is just freaking crazy, he lost his mind and sawyer seems to lost all his control. I have a feeling that one or both are going to be killed off in some way, the writers are making the characters un-lovable on purpose.
Some other things that surprised me were, Where the hell was Micheal! The producer of lost said that he would be back by the end of this season, he wasn't my favorite character or anything but why say something and then not do it?
The Looking Glass: I can't believe Charlie didn't open that door, get on the other side before shutting it! His character has gone through a lot since the series started and I hate to see him go. My brother just said he was a druggie and sucked anyway but Charlie destroyed all the drugs, he got past all of his addiction. Miguyle (However you would spell that) and his grenade, I'm guessing he died too? He was insainly close to that grenade when it went off, I don't see how he would have made it.
Rescued: It would be hard to do much more Island stories the way they left it. I think we are looking at a future season of looking back at the Island and that just doesn't seem appealing to me at all. With all the future seasons only having 16 episodes each (2/3 of the normal amount) I think it would be hard to keep the show on the same level as it is now.
Thats my thoughts.
BTW, Hurley killed someone? That took me by surprise.
