How can i update renegade to play online. When i go to the server list i click quick death match, it's testing my bandwith after it ask's be do i wan't to update, i clicked yes. It freezes on 18.7 MB (the download file is 18.7 mb). It says that 1 second is left. Nothing happens. Can i download that update from a website or this game is too old for online gaming. I really like renegade , but on online i would play it forever!!

I have had this same issue as well, but no problem , just try closing all open windows when it gets to that point where it seems to be hanging and then once all the windows that were open are closed it finishes the update, then reboot and tada.
Have you tryed that?
I do that and it works for me but like i say that works for me.
maybe it wont work for you but its just an idea.
Give it a shot let us know k.
I guess it would take a retard like trooprm02 to think that he'd accomplished something by pointing out what everyone already knows about.

Close renegade, run patch, reopen renegade, do NOT use quick match but use custom match. Quick match doesn't work anymore.
