They're both good, and it also varies between the two.

Lol viking your exactely wrong, corsair is fricking expensive but its no better then any of the lowend branches. Best ram is kingston and curcial so your good with either. Usually you won't notice the difference unless you have something like kingston hyperX.

Not interly true, G.Skill, OCZ and GeIL are better, but not unfull in most computers, as that are the real overclock brands. If you don't overclock Kingston is more then fine.

Keep in mind that Crucial == Micron and Micron actually makes DRAM chips...

It would be more helpful if we knew what you was meant to get. For example 1GB of DDR2 6400.

Personally I always go for Crucial, because that's the first brand of RAM I ever bought and I have never had a single problem with any Crucial RAM. No other reason than that really.

I've still got it, were it not for a power surge, I could use it.

Corsair makes the BEST memory/RAM you will ever find.

Also ATI fails in comparison to Nvidia.

ATI is like buying a ford, it seems like its fucking awesome, than you get a BMW and go, "man... ford sucks."

DDR400 Huh

So you was meant to get DDR400 and what did you get? If you got the same then there really isn't going to be much difference in it. You may find the Corsair ram has better timings then Kingston.

DDR400 may be old, but it isn't any slower than DDR2. In some cases DDR400 is actually faster, since DDR2 has such horrible timings. DDR2 has been getting considerably better though, and this year it took a nose dive in pricing.
