my problem is everytime i try to open gamespy it crashes and says...

'the connection to the chat server was closed or timed out... gamespy cannot continue etc'

if u click reconnect after 2 secs screen appears again.
I have reinstalled twice.
manually uninstalled... deleting keys etc. Then installed.
used older versions...
and still it happens, randomly started doing a week ago and just never stopped.

Dont suppose anyone has a clue what to do... i sure dont.

You sure? A timeout could be caused by the client, behind your firewall being unable to receive packets.

Either that, or they've banned your IP or something...

Try using Ren-IP as a programme for starting Renegade instead of GSA.

It is so simple to use and you can change your name in seconds to play in your favourite servers.

Hope this helps. Thumbs Up
