Okay here's the summary. This judge who visited a certain small dry-cleaner business had his pants lost 3 times. Yeah that sucks but the owners offered to pay for his pants but he refused.
He is suing them for 67 Million dollars!
He also wants $500,000 in emotional damages (yeah right).
He also wants $542, 500 in legal fees, even though he is representing himself in court!
He wants $15,000 for 10 years worth of weekend car rentals (supposedly to drive his pants to a different shop).

So not only is the Judge totally fucking these guys over, but since he is a "judge", the court is not throwing it out. People try dumbass attempts like this to sue people all the time, but they get thrown out as "frivilous lawsuits", which translates to "Don't waste our time with stupid and/or ridiculous lawsuits".
Yeah it sucks that his pants were lost 3 times. But if the service was so bad why did he keep going back? Why didn't he accept their offer to pay for his pants?
In my opinion this guy is a dick and if I saw him I would take a shit right in his pants pocket.

While I agree that it is hilarious, this lawsuit does have a valid legal basis to it (though the expected outcome is completely ridiculous), which is why it hasn't been thrown out... yet.
Had he been suing for the cost of the lost item(s) only, I doubt anyone would be complaining.
The KFC one had no legal basis as the doctor could not show he was harmed by it.

The sheer amount that this fucker is asking for should be grounds for dismissal all on its own. There's no way anybody deserves $67 million for a pair of fucking pants. Neither is there any way that anyone deserves $500,000 for "emotional damages" because they lost a pair of fucking pants. For that matter, anybody who asks for the compensation of legal fees to the tune of $542,500 when they are representing their own sick, malicious ass ought to be drawn and quartered. Hell, anyone who sues for $15,000 for car rentals so they can drive to a different business is outta their gourd, too. The judge ought to see this for what it is: a malicious prick exploiting the legal system in a pathetic attempt to retire early on somebody else's hard earned money. That is what makes this suit frivolous.
It may have legal grounds- but if something this obscenely outlandish is legal, doesn't that show a glaring flaw in our legal system that needs to be fixed right fucking now?

Unfortunately, costs are subjective (for the most part), and have nothing to do with the legality of the case itself... which is what the court must hear out.
That's not to say that should he win that he'll get what he asks for, but as far as the law is concerned, he was harmed by the act he claimed happened and there is a valid reason for the claim. In order for it to be heard in court, that's really all that is required.
The damages claimed, though, could cause him problems if he doesn't get a sympathetic judge. He may even be awarded less that what the defendants offered him.
However, it is America. And while I don't intend this as an insult, its legal system is known for giving substantially large awards than would be normal elsewhere.

But he would get it from the stores insurance policy. Though in the end this will either get throwen out or be reduced so much that it might as well have been throwen out.

These days, the law seems to lick their asses. Offer them houses, and make them feel right at "home". Even though they have just immigrated into the country! When there are white homeless people in their own country. :/ Teachers are even scared to punish a black kids just because they *can* get fired for it.
