I have this problem with my comp too, but I think it only happens when I use fraps to take screenies.

Run fraps, then run the game you want to record or take a screen of, then press the record or screen capture key.

If you run a 3rd party program it may not work... Try useing the button on your computer that says:

Print Scr
--------
Sys Rq

just tap that once go to: Start > All Programs > Acsessories > Paint

open paint up and press: Ctrl + v

your screenshot should paste their. Then Save it as JPEG or PNG and after that go to a image hosting site such as http://www.imageshack.us and Browse an Upload your photo and copy the link for Forums. If tht dnt work then you should try running Fraps. it's Very simple to use when u think about it.
-----------------

Running Fraps:

1. Download it here: ftp://ftpfiles.ren-archive.com/Fraps 2.8.2.rar (just copy and paste tht in a new window in your broswer)
2. Run it.

3. Go to the Screen Shot's tab.

4.and follow the directions.

It's all right their.

just have it running while you play and press F10 i think it is... to take a screen shot.

idk it says wht button u press in the screen shot's tab.
----------------
Post back if either of theese work or fail.

The three people I know that have 8800s already are having frequent driver crashes with it, both on XP and Vista.
It makes me feel happier with my £30 6200. Big Grin

Run Fraps at any time, preferably as you start Renegade. Use F9 for a 30 second movie clip of the action or F10 for a single snap, all whilst playing your game.

Open up Fraps at a later time and click on "movies" to view the one you want to upload.

Upload to any respective site of your choosing and then post the link on the forum for us to see the clip.

Hopefully this helps.

Oh, I am!
Running Renegade at 1280x1024 with an average 60fps is fine.
And running BF2142 at 1024x768 on medium has no problems either.
And I can run C&C3 at 1280x1024 with everything except AA, VFX and Shadows on max.

Yeah, because they're running in DirectX 8 mode or most likely 7. If you actually run them in DirectX 9 you'll take that back (not speaking of Renegade).

I don't see why that's any problem though. Dont Get It
My C&C3 screenshots look pretty much the same as anyone elses', and BF2142 looks waay better than Renegade.

Ohwell, we aren't all loaded enough to buy expensive and powerful PCs. Big Grin

Well, I wasn't trying to make you feel bad due to the fact that you can't afford something better (which is what elitists tend to do Sarcasm). That's totally understandable. It's just the fact that you think you can get away with a 6200 and run anything you can, which is what I laugh at. Razz

OK, so I won't be able to play Crysis or SupCom. Razz
I played the HL2 demo fine though. Very Happy
