Lately I have been having a problem login onto WOL. When I try to get into advanced game listings, it says "Requesting Server List". Afetr a coupe seconds another thing pops up saying "Operation Timed Out". This is realy starting to bug me since i haven't been able to play Renegade for almost a day now, i haven't been able to get on since last night, but i did have problems Sunday Morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in order to fix your problem try this: (Windows XP)

1) go to your windows folder on the c: (Your Hard drive)
2)find the system32 folder in the windows folder
3)Open it and enter the Drivers folder
4)In the drivers folder enter the etc folder
5)when your in the etc folder thier should be 2 files with the same name,
one is hosts which is a icalender file and the other one is Hosts (The file we are are looking for is the Capitilized HOSTS).
6)open Hosts with a notepad
7)look for this entery: 81.68.220.36 #servserv.westwood.com
8)the entry should look like that in order for you to be able to log in.

Have fun!!!! Surprised
