I've seen the video and he did go overboard. It was kind of embarassing to watch, but it's not like he tried to rape her or anything. They have some funny ideas about female modesty over there. Shame the Buddhists aren't in control eh. Then all the men would be wearing full length dresses too.

A similar thing happened when the Tennis player Sania Mirza had a bit of success a few years ago. She got a fatwa issued against her; apparently she wasn't covered up enough. I thought that was pretty funny, considering she's one of few top players without a plunging neckline. Of course I notice these things in passing, as I am chiefly interested in the athletic constest.
