I've thought about buying from them as well, but I never did. It does seem kind of too good to be true. Although, they seem completely legit.

The PC I'm on right now is one that I got from Cyberpower for my birthday. For what I paid for, it was quite a deal. However, I would suggest researching the components they'll give you if you don't change anything. I don't really like the MSI motherboard they give by default.

I'm with blazer. The only way that you know your getting a good deal, getting what you paid for, and it being done right is to do it yourself.

To be honest the components look "OK", but there is something which noone has mentioned yet and thats the most important of all.
The Powersupply.
From what I can see Cyberpowerpc sells cheap cases with el cheapo powersupply. Which means the lifetime of your PC goes down by far because a good powersupply is important for the stability of your PC.
For example
)Sigma Gaming Orca Mid-Tower 400W Case
has a unknown powersupply.
In other words
--> they sell PSU's but youle have to pay extra to buy a good powersupply I'd recommend doing that.
Also from what I see the cases they sell look very plastic ( Eventhoug on pictures they look good ) Real brands: Chieftec, Antec, Lian LI.

My brother still currently uses the PC from Cyberpower my family bought all those years ago. It still runs quite well, but he has had to put a few upgrades into it since then. Upgrades like a Videocard, RAM and processor. Upgrades ran him about $300 total. Again, he only did this to upgrade and not because the components failed. I believe he still has his previous powersupply.
As the price may tell you, he didn't get top notch upgrades, just the essentials.

HP is just as awful as Dell in my experiences. Well, maybe not JUST as awful, but still pretty bad. Everytime I send my damn laptop in to get the power supply fixed(won't get power even when it's plugged in unless you hold the damn cord in place), it ends up the same way after two weeks of its return again.
Generic is not the way for a gamer to go anyways. Get something you can fully customize for a fraction of the price. If you have the time, learn the ins and outs of buying your own parts and building your own PC. If your PC turns out like mine did then you won't be disappointed.
