I have uninstalled renegade then, on the advice of someone trying to help, did a system restore. Now I can't reinstall or un-install because both operations are missing files or finding files. I am getting all kinds of error messages. Short of a complete reformat is there anything I can do? Are there some files that I can delete so that I can re-install? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like your system restore AFTER uninstalling dragged back some registry keys and or folders/files
