Renguard will not let me play renegade. I have tried reinstall, but won't let me. I'm getting something like a Game2.exe error. Can someone help me? Thanks

my friend is getting th exact same error, on both his XP and vista computer, after using renguard and dl'ing that new update it says renegade not found on the XP comp, so no rene at all, and on the vista comp only renguard doesnt work since that update.

He doesnt have sp2 on the xp comp could that be it? Tell Me
