I need a job, I had one but it was bullshit after bullshit so I quit. Now I need a new one, preferably not retail. What do you think I could do? Rocked Over

Why does Viking always seem to go back and forth from intelligent postings to unintelligible postings? I've always noticed it, but everybody else seems to ignore that fact...

You can't enlist in the Army before you're 18. You can pre-enlist, but that doesn't count.

You can enlist at the age of 17 and go through basic, but you can't do anything else until you turn 18.

You are. Basic Training is the first step into the military after you've signed the contract; its the 9 weeks where you get infantry training and all other basic training. For instance, my recruiter is having my friend go to basic this summer, and after basic (he turns 18 during basic) he will assume is job on base as soon as he is done with basic.

I was down to walk a little over four miles to a job, and then back. They just didn't want to hire me. :<

When I had a job before I always ended up leaving 5 minutes before my shift lol! I would always be late! Big Grin
