The ending result settles like this, the N35 is better for gaming performance but lacks in the driver department at the moment and the image quality and AA, AF is inferior to ATI's 9800 Pro currently.
The Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB is the better card, not as good in overall game perforamce by 2 FPS, but has better image quality and fast AF and AA; aswell as being faster in benchmarks and D9.0 instructions. Aswell as being alot cheaper and better drivers. The Radeon 9800 256MB overclocked can do alot better than the N35.
Wait another month for the Radeon 9900 Pro which will be the next top performer.
There is no best, there is always a new one atleast every 6 months, overclock a 9700 Non-Pro and you will outdo any card on the market currently. Simple as that.
