Ok, I have 2 computers that I play Renegade on.
1st computer is a
2200+ AMD Athlon XP (1.8GHz) (Windows Xp Pro)
1GB DDR Ram (184-pin)
and a GeForce 6200 512DDR videocard (Core is 400MHz and Memory is 750MHz with 4 pixel Pipes) AGP 4X, i know, not the greatest.
Now At the main menu I get around 250-300FPS
Sniper servers I get around 75-100FPS
AOW servers I get around 20-60 FPS
all depends on the amount of action and these are all at max settings.
Now. my other computer is a
5600+ AMD Athlon X2 (2.8GHz) (Windows Vista Home Premium)
4GB DDR Ram (240-Pin)
ATi Radeon X1300 with about the same specs as the Geforce in my other computer just this one is PCI-E X16
Now with this one everything is lockes at 60FPS... i know there is a way to unlock it i just dont remember.
and dont give me the BS of how it follows the refresh rate of your monitor cause both are set at 60, yet the older maching plays some matches better...
some help would be nice, because this is driving me crazy, on my old computer I can kick more ass then I can on my new computer... I used to be good at sniping... now i cant hit shit...
also, i know the frames are the difference because my old Video card in my old computer was crap and when I got the new geforce i could snipe like a pro...
seems like with ATi i suck and with GeForce i kick ass....

Change your VSYNC setting under the BHS.dll options on the new machine's copy of Renegade. If there is no "BHS.dll options" item on the Options menu, try updating to the latest scripts.dll and then turning VSYNC off
