Foobar2000 is my favorite music client. Who uses it? And what are your setups?
I'd show you mine, but I just reformatted and haven't gotten around to installing an application that handles images yet, which I have to do because I removed Paint from the Windows installation disc. I'll show you when I find my copy of Photoshop.
Before you suggest it, no I don't want to install an application that saves screen-shots directly.

Use IrfanView. It's free and extremely light.
Why did you remove paint? Sounds like a dumb idea to me.

So you totally ignored my advice about IrfanView. Please, would you at least check it out? It won't replace Photoshop, it just makes pasting images from the clipboard and compressing images way the heck easier and faster than waiting for Photoshop to start up.

Jonty wrote on Mon, 09 April 2007 00:14 | I never saw what all the fuss was about IrfanView. It kinda annoyed me actually, I think the UI looks a little old.
Anyway, on-topic, I usually use either XMMS or VLC, depending on what I'm listening to*.
* XMMS doesn't play streaming media very well here.

Who cares what it looks like? Sheesh, does anybody care about usability anymore these days? When you use it, it's usually open for less than a minute. The point of it is that it starts up instantly, you can load or paste images instantly, and then convert them to jpg, png, gif, whatever, instantly. Also, you can resize them incredibly fast too. I would so rather do that than to wait for The GIMP or Photoshop to open, which would still take longer than it does to do all of this in IrfanView. Use heavy programs like GIMP or Photoshop for real editing.
Also, I suggest using Banshee instead of XMMS... it's like iTunes but without the suck.

I am left to use iTunes since i have an iPod and all my music is on there (yet to extract and rename 500+ songs) but if i was left to the playlist i'd use Winamp or stream it.
Btw that's iTunes 6.0 not 7.x because 7.x doesn't like it when other programs run aside it, start playing the tracks faster than usual.

Irfanview for images, mplayer for video, winamp for music.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Same, but it was a couple years back.
