I am tired of playing a game, saying, "AWWW FUCK I HAD U BITCH!!1!1" or something and getting kicked for "No swearing in our server!"

If you are on the internet you already know most if not all cuss words, so I say FUCK YOU! To any server who kicks for that, I can see if you get out of hand with it but... Come on thats fucking stupid.

Well you see, this is a game about grizzled global peacekeeping forces engaged in years of struggle with a centuries-old terrorist pseudo-religious organization bent not only on world domination but the elimination of socio-political enemies as well as democracy-supportive villagers (re: scene of Nod rounding up and torching peasants with a flame tank, operating torture-and-brainwashing camps for civilians and prisoners alike, etc)and the literal and figurative mutation of society and is rated only for older teenagers and above to be playing it, with online play as a focus, where they try to kill each other using not only bullets, but also flamethrowers, shards of sharp crystal, chemical weapon sprays, nuclear weaponry, and brutal run-downs with light-to-heavy vehicles and even helicopters.
Obviously, in this scenario, there is NO PLACE FOR PROFANE LANGUAGE. It could corrupt the youth, and cause the elementary and middle-school aged children who are allowed to play by unresponsible parents to perhaps emulate this learned behavior and SWEAR UNDER SITUATIONS OF STRESS AND/OR EXCITEMENT.
Entirely intolerable. We can't have profanity fucking up our youth's experience in such a game, obviously.
And don't even THINK of suggesting players who dislike profanity should actually employ the built-in language filter; that's like asking them to take proactive responsibility for, and making a simple sacrifice (push butan recv filtr) towards acheiving their own desired gameplay experience instead of simply forcing their morals onto others. Seriously, grow up, and stop complaining.
I don't want to hear you telling me how you "kicked Nod's asses" while I'm attempting to fire tiberium gel rounds all over this minimally armed technician who was recruited from his previous civilian occupation and is just in this position to earn some money for his kids who live in a third world country with poor opportunity for application of his technological skills outside of the state-owned telecom industry.

Fun fact: At my high school, "swearing indirectly (ie. not at a person)" carried a stiffer penalty than swearing at faculty/staff or swearing at a student.
Things could've changed in the years I've been gone, but it always amused me.

UNrules banned me for saying 2 cuss words. So I cussed there forums out and they banned me from there too. It was funny one time the day I got banned, we have a cheater in there who took control of a mod game banned people. They stop to ban me for swearing and than go to the person hijacking the name ;P.

Amazingly enough, some server-owners do not enjoy seeing cuss words on their screen and/or have children playing it.. I do know it sounds kinda wierd that they're killing people and complaining about it but when most people play video games they're not like "HEY IM GONNA KILL SO-N-SO".. They're like "HEY THATS THE BAD GUY!!11" and it doesn't really affect them. Some people believe that when children see "bad words", they might copy them. Also some people just don't cuss and don't like anything about it. Yeah, there IS cussing all over the place but their server is the place where they can enforce a rule of no cussing, and they have every right to, it is their server after all.
Imo, you should either play on servers that allow cussing, or just don't cuss in chat while you're playing on that server. Seriously.. If there's a rule saying there's no cussing and you break it, they have a pretty good reason to kick you. Yeah, it might be a dumb rule, but it is their server. I think some servers have retarded rules but I'll follow their rules while I'm in that server.. If I don't and get kicked, its my fault.
Personally, I don't give a shit. I just posted that because noone is answering why with a valid reason. :[ I'd let you guys swear in my server but unfortunately I don't own one and there isn't really a need for one lol
