Actually I think the majority of the people on these forums have tried that game at some point or another, and all have definitely heard of it. I was the first CR5 in live after that game came out. Shows how much of a life I had when I was 16.

Not when the game first came out.

The reserves program ends at the end of this month so if anyone is going to try it out I suggest they do it for free while they still can.

They recently raised the price to $15 USD per month too. Although they've started updating the game again, it's still a little much for a 5 year old game that not many people play anymore.

can the people who play the reserves still play if they have it (also my thing said it would end it August) im not a beginner either just this reserves thing is knida confusing.

It actually only took me a month to get CR5. It wasn't nearly as hard at release because there were tons more players and tons more big base captures meaning you get get CEP way faster than you can these days.

PlanetSide has this "Reserves" thing going on indefinetely, which means that you can download the entire game for free and start your own character for free. You can play with you character online for free as long as you want, but he will have a level cap of like level 7 or something like that. Once you hit level 7 you can't get any more levels unless you start paying for your account.

If you pay for an account you can get up to level 25 or something like that. If you keep playing the free version you will be forever stuck at level 7 and your character will be pretty gimped.

I tried the Reserves a while ago, and I decided if I was going to bother with an MMO-style game, it would ruin my study schedule even more than Renegade and television could have done. I enjoyed it, but I haven't been able to even try it recently since my good computer's monitor screwed up. If anyone's interested in seeing some Fraps videos of my crappy playing style from back then, you can find them here.

I played PlanetSide in the beta test and I really liked it. It doesn't have the same pull as Renegade for me, but it does have good concepts that should help its longevity.

i though it was cool for all the stuff like BFR's and things like that. planetside and ren a my favorite games so far but planetside has much more better things than renegade, but renegade has a lot of smart fun things like sniping in PS u acn snipe but its pretty crappy in renegade when u snipe somone they usalty die immediatly. (i have this same attachment at the top by the way)

I played the beta and played for a few months that Sony gave me for free for providing good feedback. I was in the RenEvo guild for the longest time. I really loved the game and the worlds were so heavily populated it made everything awesome. Now the game has died and isn't really any fun anymore.
