I just hope if they do another FPS in the C&C world they dont make it capture the "yawwwwwwwwwnnnnnn" flag of BF2 style gaming. Hope they keep the game objective intact.

I also heard a rumor that sylvester stallong will be starring as havoc and arnold scwarzenegger as gunner and to finish with : Angelina Jolie as hotwire.

It doesn't seem to be a very reliable source. Or at the very least, an inexperienced one.

Even working with Ren07, I don't always use the term: "UE3" when referring to the engine used by Unreal Tournament III, and many other games. The person who wrote that article is probably just isn't experienced enough to know that the engine has a name of its own- there are people that don't know that sort of thing. Or maybe he just wanted to simplify it for the people who don't. I mean, "Crysis engine" to me, means: "The engine used by Crysis". Even if that's that the actual name of the engine.

Still, it'd be really cool if other sites where showing the same sort of info. I bet though, that we'll find out the truth soon enough; look at all of the discussion that's going on here alone. More information will probably be sprouting up somewhere. But it might just be information about how this is not true =O

This is probably bullshit considering the source (the website, not the OP)... but when I was at EA they did imply that another C&C FPS was not outside the realm of possibility. All I can say is, if you want it, buy C&C3. Let them see in the only way that they understand "HURRRR DOLLERZ$$$$$$" that there's plenty of audience for the C&C franchise.

btw, it seems I was right when I said they would release another fps game after TFD and another rts (C&C3) about 1 year ago. told you so +8mill Big Grin

EDIT: after browsing the site and looking around for more info, I found some SS's that drove most hopes of making a rene like renegade2 into the ground Dont Get It
