Must be nice to see snow if you rarely get it. This year we got 2-3feet of snow, depending on the area in London (ontario). All the snow fell within 17 hours and we got over a foot in just 3. Seeing stuff like this was normal that day, t'was interesting.

If only a little snow like that would cancel things in Michigan.

[Begin rant]
To those ignorant people on about canadians:

We dont carry tire chains, or snow shovels on us at all times.
Thats just stupid. No one even puts them on.
They're called, SNOW tires. And a normal shovel works just fine.

One Winged Angel

We dont keep shovels and tire chains in our underpants over here.

Who says that my comment was directed at Canadians. I did say shovel and not 'snow shovel' and while you use snow spike tyres some europeans choose to use tyre chains. A british invention. And no they are not stupid and they do work. Take a joke.

Those pictures are nothing. About an hour south of the border people have a 100inches and are expecting something like 30 more!

Oh I know Barrie got dumped on. The thing is with lake effect here is how much 10km east or west can make a difference. I live on the west side of london, downtown is about 10km away and there was almost 1 foot more snow there than here, go 20km west on the 402 to strathroy and there was hardly a dusting lol.

I live in cincinnati. We only got a few inches of snow but what we got worse was several inchs of ice. Tuesday night it poured freezing rain all night then froze solid next day. Took me over an hour to de-ice my car lol.

Give me snow to drive in any day, beats this crap.

I heard upstate NY got 14' of snow this past week.
