Everything (including the project files) will continue to work even if you dont install this update. However, I recommend installing it since it fixes a large number of bugs in Visual C++ 2005.

Then try to delete the scripts.ncb intellisense database.
Visual Studio will recreate it when you start it then.
This maybe fixes it.
When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"
