I agree. No tech support this feature, and no advertisement is what will kill it. This is ultimately why RenEvo didn't get these boards.
This is why people like ACK get exposure for what they do. Anyone heard of "Glacier"? Like it or not, he marketed his product well, and people noticed.
What good does creating an excellent product do if NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS, WHERE TO GET IT, OR HOW TO INSTALL IT? You might as well have created it for yourself, because no one else will ever get to see, or experience you creative genius.

I have been sparky. What viable option for playing Renegade do you have? If you say "Gamespy" I am going to laugh. WOL is down, and it's future isn't looking good. I am trying to get this community to support a good replacement option. If no one plays Renegade for lack of servers, then this board becomes the "Remember how good Renegade USED to be?" board.

For the most part I play on ASE servers, yes. So if you feel the urge to laugh, for no apparent reason I might add, go right ahead. But don't speak of me in an otherwise condescending manner 'cause I assure you, I'm neither a n00b nor a Newbie.
You certainly don't hear me bashing either WOL or GS/ASE people. I play & enjoy the game thoroughly still. As long as people play the game it'll always be around, despite the fact that WOL's done with. I've got nothing against REOL, as a matter of fact I think it's a great replacement & I hope it gets the attention it deserves.

FDS admins, it is easy to convert your server to a REOL server with only one change in your FDS' Server.ini file.
Simply open Server.ini with Notepad, and replace the LoginServer= parameter to LoginServer=RE USA Server or LoginServer=RE Euro Server depending on where you live.
Then launch your server, and it will log into Titanium Blue / REOL and allow users of REOL to play on your server, just as they would on WOL.
