the last thing i forgot to add.

windows lacks hardware support. i know this is an issue because of hardware, thats why my comp works so well with Suse. what i ment by multitasking is suse handles it better, for one: it can detect a crash and end it. 2 if there is a crash and everything is locked up you can switch to the kernel and end the offender. 3 everything just seems to work better, what i found was. i could burn 2 disks at once while running loads of "Konquers" loads of Terminals installing stuff. i could switch between each one without a problem. windows however, if a program get stuck in a loop (in the code) the program locks up. i found with suse however it doesn't, and after about 30 secs KDE ends it anyway. can you do that with windows? the answer is yes, but instead of ending it instantly it tries to end it by "virtualy" clicking the "X" symble, how stupid is that? you have to end its process manualy before it will close. as soon as i sort this computer out again im going to move over to suse. and not run rengard, i don't use it atm anyway because "i have a currupt always.dat". i have bought the game so i should be able to play soon.

im sure the reason rengaurd wont run with cedega is because it is missing dependancys. you need that service, whatever it is called. it should work with the new rengaurd update.

one last thing, because linux doesn't support .NET or active X it is not possible to get viruses of just browsing the net. i have also found you cant get them in music files, documents or pictures. you would have to download one and INSTALL it before it would do anything. and then, most of the things you download for linux have a checksum so you know it doesn't have virusus embedded. unless of course the developer has put some in the program.

linux has 2 flaws though:
1) its not very user freindly as in you would have to learn SH to use the terminal.
2) at the moment, not many programs are being developed for it. although there are emulators, if someone decided to bring out a game for linux i would buy it Wink
3) installing some programs is hard, some dependancys are a really tuffy to find, and some of them need dependancys.

but thats all i don't like about it.
