Take my advice: do not waste you time, take it off the list. There's at least 3 times as much server slots as there are player.

Not worth making a Server unless you get one of those a00000000 nicknames, which honestly I think is bullshit. If you remember back when RenStation (With Speed059 running it) was around, Fastc0nn1 & Fastc0nn2 was only a tad scroll away, now you have to gay WAY DOWN to find a Server begining with the letter "F".

Would be better if we got rid of those a00000000 nicknames, but then again no one will Sad

They can always make it shuffle the servers so some go on top, and some on bottom. Or do it like xbox 360, searches for an open server, and you are forced to join that server.

random is a BAD IDEA - if u want random - go to Quick match

AFAIK the Quick match mode is fucked up in XWIS.

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

In "Tremulous" they made it so certain server name combinations did not show up on the server list. My suggestion is to give all server owners a week/month notice and then not allow those names.

Or patch Ren so the default search is server ping. Something you can't really bump yourself up on without actually having a better server. But I some how think the first one would be easier.

So, they ban a000 names.. then comes the a111 names, the a22 names etc etc... eventually there won't be any names left.

I'll think the server page should should be total ramdon, this would make it fair for everyone.

Anyways, so many bad attuides here, if you want to run a server, run it, but it takes time to build up a player base, it's slow, but you keep you're server online for a long time, it will start to get players.

lol i got people joining my server from the moment i set it up, of course now its crashing randomly... soral of the mory, if you wanna use up yer bandwidth and memory to do it, then go for broke!
