I tried that but I only froze when I used the other keys such as left, right, crouch and backward. After about 3 seconds I am free to move but only to go forward, jump and shoot. One of the sites noted that my client scripts were old and that I should go to Black-cell.net.

There's a file called keys.exe in your renegade directory. Open it and change the different entries to keys you don't use to play renegade.

As I enter most of the servers and try to play, my player freezes when I try to move left or right, crouch and/or backwards. Anyone know what I need to do to get this game back to where it used to be fun?
