Can anyone tell me, if it is possible, how to get a CD key from renegade after it is installed? thx

You can't, the key is stored as a hash. You *might* be able to copy the serial hash over to another renegade installation, but you would need an original key to actually run the installation program.

afaik you only need to copy the woldata.key file, this contains the hash of your renegade serial key which the online servers use.

lol, I was about to Post a screenshot of my registry to show you what to copy, and also WOLData.key, lol.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

its an encrypted version of your renegade serial, and because it's encrypted you can't change it back to the original.

You need to copy both the woldata.key file and the registry key.
The serial in the registry is encrypted and the woldata.key file is related to the encryption (wont go into details for obvious reasons)
