The only Linux box I have access to is running Debian 3.1.x aka "Sarge". It uses GCC 3.3.5, GLibC 2.3.2, and Binutils 2.15 for its toolchain. Is the RH8.0 LFDS binary-compatible with a scripts.dll built using that toolchain?

Also, what is the highest GCC version that is binary-compatible with the RH8.0 LFDS?

If you have trouble running BIATCH on your FDS, have some questions about a BIATCH message or log entry, or think that BIATCH spit out a false positive, PLEASE contact the BlackIntel coding team and avoid wasting the time of others.

I know GCC 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-47.3) works and GCC 3.4.4 20050721 (Red Hat 3.4.4-2) does not.
I have no idea if GCC 3.3.x will work, it depends on whats changed between 3.2.x and 3.3.x

1) I guess I'll throw a LFDS on that box once I get it to my own purposes (once my grandfather gets a replacement for his current PC)...I can always install a FSF GCC 3.2.x i686-pc-linux native Smile
2) Please do NOT use snapshot dates or RH version numbers when talking about GCC versions. It would be much easier to actually go out and find the version of GCC you are talking about if you gave me the version number of an official FSF GCC release.
