The renrem system has not changed since 1.41 or earlier (to the best of my knowledge, I don't think packhunter made any changes there and I certainly have not).

For them all to cut out at the same time suggests something else on the system is interfering with them in some way, maybe a firewall somewhere suddenly deciding to close all your ports perhaps?
