I was just interested if anyone has this so...

Anyone uses this great calculator? Its the TI-89 Titanium.
It's has an ok programming language called TI-BASIC which is really a smaller version of BASIC.

This is the best calculator I've got and it can do lots of stuff.

lol I remember back when the most advanced was like a TI-81 and my math teacher said, "These calculators have more power than the computer systems that sent the astronauts to the moon". rofl

People are becoming too dependant on technology. Save your brains and use a pencil and paper every so often! Wink

Don't underestimate these calculators. They are powerful enough to support a 3D engine with polygonal lighting(in grayscale).

Doitle, are you buying a 92 or 92+ ? (92+'s better) and when you get your calc, could you help me beta test something?

Too true.

But then there is a difference of doing basic math, and Calculus Wink

Pretty much the only thing I use a calculator for is speed when using a large amount of numbers, or figuring out how much tax was paid on something when all you have is the total.

I have a TI 83 and I love it. I'm pretty pro at programming for it. Programs, not games though. I used to have a copy of duckhunt for it. That rocked.

Er no. My school had everyone buy this calc but then the math course right now prohibits use of calcs during exams. So...I just program some stuff on it.

Most teachers at my school don't allow the use of calculators, some allow scientific calculators, but only for certain sections. Big difference from high school when you would fail tests if you didn't have a ti-83.
