I'm running a radeon 8500 from ATI (128 MB). It's great. Net code for ren is slow compared to BF1942 tho.

I bought a PNY Verto NVIDIA GeForce FX card, but it keep overheating. So I returned it and got an ATI RADEON 9200 instead. The driver installation was so much easier with ATI than with NVIDIA. The ATI card automatically disabled my onboard video adapter. With the NVIDIA card, I had to disable it manually. I also did not have to reboot my computer with the ATI card. I did have to reboot twice with the NVIDIA. I haven't have any problems with my ATI card.

i have 2 ati's now, ATI AIW for VIVO stuff, and a 9500 Pro that i just got for gaming, i wouldnt recomment NVIDIA anymore, bad experiences, ATI cards are overall better, you can up quality settings and barely notice performance decrease, and they support much higher resoloutions, i have a sapphire and i like it a lot, works fine without overclocking. if u want budget get a 9500 Pro(make sure it is pro not regular) if u want best quality get 9800/Pro and if you need VIVO stuff, i recommend just going with a PCI expansion card
