I have a friend who is obsessed with World of Warcraft. Personally, I never tried it or even bothered to say the least. Since I quit gaming, I don't ever plan to either. Back when I played Guild Wars though, people used to bash World of Warcraft all the time which is another reason I never really bothered.

Even the adults that were in my guild bashed World of Warcraft. Not because of the $15 dollars a month, although, that probably contributed to the flaming of WoW, but they didn't like the game period. I don't remember any of their reasons why, but it doesn't really matter now.

I think that World of Warcraft is the saddest MMORPG ever. Seriously, there is NOTHING special about it. This is what all MMORPGs are doing now... THE SAME DAMN THING. No one seems to be able to come up with something unique anymore... and WoW is the least of uniqueness.

Quit this game 2 years back for WoW. Was in a 4 horsemen killing guild up till a month ago when I quit because of uni. Now I'm back here playing from time to time.

I've played D2, but not WoW, it was fun for awhile but not so interested to play against other people and that's probably the only fun you get out of it, i mean what else would be the point of getting the best items? to beat the same monsters? needless to say i got bored after whatever 4 months. if i'm gonna waste time like that, i want to have fun while i'm doing it right now that would be CSS, and i've been playing a bit of rene. Before that, I was playing AA. I find AA a bit challenging and that's why i like it but no one i know likes it because they don't want to get good at it :\
