i been looking around and i can't fing a simple thread that gives you a link to a site or download for a map maker without tons of writing can some just post a link to a map maker plz

the tons of writing tells you how to USE the 'map maker'

you need two programs to make makes for Renegade.

1) Gmax, install this first
http://files2.turbosquid.com/Products/L567271/XFM83W83US/gma x12.exe

2) Renegade public tools, install these AFTER gmax
ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/renegade/tools/RenegadeToolsInsta ller2.exe

since you dont want tons of writing I will leave you to work out how to use them on your own...

Dont forget, you cant register gmax anymore so you need the gmax registration workaround from this page:

I can register gmax from turbosquid all the time, i have about 3 codes.
