		I would look into at least getting PC3200 RAM, PC2700 isn't that great, and if you get a motherboard that supports overclocking, you can get PC3200 (DDR400) to run at 400MHz with good timings. 
 
To make sure your RAM is compatible, you need to take into consideration the following: 
 
1.  Does your RAM have the same amount of pins as the RAM sockets on the motherboard? 
 
2.  Do the RAM PC number match the compatible PC number for the motherboard?
