i use zone alarm, and it is mostly turned off.

it could be my router, unfotunately, it is shite, and sometimes the url speedtouch.lan will bring me to it, but most times it dosnt work, and if i cant access my router, i cant switch off the firewall on it.(i think it's off but im not sure as i cant check)

Zone Alarm doesn't disable itself even if you tell it to.

You have to uninstall it to get rid of it.

NOT A PROBLEM! A regular hammer would just do fine, and I can supply you with C4!

Zone Alarm is a good firewall, but it is a pain in the ass to configure. Not very user friendly (assuming most people are straight up retards). I'm not saying your stupid, but it shouldn't be as difficult as it is to properly configure a software based firewall.

What light said is correct, though: you are having a firewall issue and simply disabling ZA will not fix your problem. I would suggest permitting your renegade and renguard executables to communicate freely with the internet and manually open any of the common ports the game uses.

Or you can simply replace your firewall with something a little more user-friendly. Smile
