In your renegade directory, there exists a game2.exe. Play with game2.exe to not run renguard.
You can also ofcourse uninstall the program like you would with any program.

Why would you want to disable it in the first place. Unless you get a error and thats your only solution. Other then that its best to get it on. Unless your a hacker and cheat on one server and play clean on the others  j/k (Unless its true)
