Why need a website? You are still a "n00b" Clan. That meaning new/fresh. I suggest getting a forum (Which are free) and starting from there. When you get users and more money then you can get your server(s) and site.
NEVER expect to just start a clan and get everything.

If i understand what you saying. Your saying this (Correct me if wrong).
You are saying: Dont get forums, Get off mIRC. Dont use TS. Just play renegade.
Your pretty much chopping off the arm of your members. How can they communicate? Not all of them near next to each other. Without a forum you can post things such as discusions and what not. Without mIRC you cant talk lively, Unless you got IM. Also for hosting a bot for server. Without TS you cant talk live to your members...
These are the most important functions of a clan, Communication.

Teamspeak is a must, MSN is a must... forums, IRC, websites and whatnot are just a bonus, a clan really doesn't need them. On the other hand, a clan that doesn't actually play clanwars on some kind of regular basis really isn't a clan at all in my eyes.

well seeing as i've played nothing but clanwars for the last 3 years, i think i know what im chattin on about.
always used ts, always used msn to tell when they're on. dont gotta sit on my fist in irc. clanwars.cc forums is the only forum any of the good clans use..

No, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't. In fact, I know you wouldn't.
edit: Just to give a little insight. Some of them played over 1000s of clanwars of renegade, while some "clans" on renegade hardly rack up 10. I've probably played over 200 myself. Really the experience of knowing what to do comes from playing so much clanwars. I mean would you know what to buy on field? Etc.

I don't know if Karmai is the best person to be making these criticisms, considering he's played more religiously than anyone after whiskey, kill, soul and clearshot, but still barely qualifies as average... no offence karmai so please don't get angry again
