It's an interesting public format, and they actually do present opposing opinions. Of all the stations out there, NPR's reporting is fairly on key with some notable exceptions.

They reported critically on Clinton as well as Bush Sr. and his predecessors.

Not to mention they actually veer off the usual doom and gloom to report nicely constructed stories on everyday life.

I vote republican, and I cringe at times, but the reporting for the most part is balanced.

You need to listen more closely.
