Well, Reloaded is not just coming out in regualar theatres. Its also is going to be released in imax theatres around the world two weeks after its released in theatres. And I got two tickets to go see it at the 3D imax theatre here in chicago. So me and one of my friends is going to go and put on the 3D eletronic googles that they give you and actually see the punches and kicks fly past my head. Smile

And believe me. Its much more entertaining watching it at a imax theatre then it is at a regular one. I know cause I saw Blade 2 at a imax theatre. And it was waaaay better. With the 3D eletronic googles it adds more of a effect cause everything like pops out at you. Especially when Bullet time happpen (Thats when you see the bullet go in slow motion). You actally see coming at you. Smile

That movie was AWESOME... granted it was not quite as intellectually stimulating as the original, the special effects are absolutely amazing. This is the first movie I've ever gone to see on opening day, but it was worth it... we went really early and got good seats. And thanks to Lefty, we knew to stay through the credits while we laughed at all the losers leaving. Smile

I am seeing it today! I can't wait. I heard there is a fight scene where Neo fights off 200 computer generated Agents, all at the same time! I'm sure the best visual effects I have even seen will be in the movie. Can't wait.

I'm sure I'll like it much better when the 3rd comes out. they should have ended it like 5 minutes earlier...plus there was too much of the love story shit. I'm sick of that crap in movies...the Matrix was awesome because love was only mentioned one time...instead of cliche lines of two horomonal teenagers. By the end of it I was actually praying one of them would die so I wouldn't have to put up with corny lines like "they need you" "I need you"

I saw the matrix reloaded a couple of days ago and in my opinion it was a huge letdown. The special effects were okay at most, not as perfectly photorealistic as the money they spent on it would lead you to believe. They also were overused - covering pointless car crashes and fight moves without centering on anything new or critical/important. Slow motion in some parts made some scenes drone on for what seemed like forever. Speaking of forever, some of the fight/action scenes were cool for a minute or two, until you wake up and think "bleh? how long have they been fighting for?". Especially for scenes like the dance scene in Zion or the fight scene with the agent smiths - there was too much waiting for something interesting to happen. The crude humor they tried to slap in there for laughs felt out of place, especially that french guy (whatshisname) who I can only guess was intended to be a guy with sharp wit, but instead looked like a horny little pervert. In my opinion, there was way too much spent on special effects and action, among other things (pleasing the segment of the population which would be well personified by Montag's wife in the book "Fahrenheit 451"), and too little effort spent on the story and being creative with the effects.

I miss the interest and curiosity as well as the sense of awe spawned by the first movie. If only they could've recaptured that.... oh well.

I agree with the fact that parts seemed to drone on and on forever. The fight scene with the Smiths...OMFG...I just wanted it to end. even the scenes with the nudity...tasteless and pointless. for a movie with so much potential...they let me down
