Hello everyone.
I thought i would tell you all about this pretty cool program that my clan and i have been using.
Its called Hamachi.
It basically creates a virtual network over the internet. You create a Network (eg SWS Net is my clan network) and then people you invite can join that network. and it works pretty much the same way as a normal network: browsing shared folders, playing LAN games etc.
You can join more than one network also.
My clan and I use to play games and share files.
I think its a great little handy program, and if anyone hasnt tried they should give it go.

It's good, I used it for a while to tunnel VNC. It's good at traversing NAT but falls down when you have to go through a proxy.
That said it's good for LANing over distance and for secure connections. Plus it requires 0 effort to setup as opposed to almost all tunnelling options.

I've used this before, it's pretty useful. My friend and I were trying to setup a private Counterstrike server and this was the only way to let me into his server

Won't people with invalid CD Keys be able to play as well?

You CAN play with a cracked version. Just install it using the same serial and thats that. There are a milion serials outside on the internet.

You can play with an invalid key regardless whether or not you use Hamachi. You still can't play online though.

You can play with an invalid key regardless whether or not you use Hamachi. You still can't play online though.
