Never mind the fact that I have already apologized to Olaf for my misconceptions and we are working as a team rather than at cross-purposes.

I'm the bawss.

I posted a PM log containing Crimson and I planning to take down XWIS in an effort to make BHS look good, but that was removed because she felt it wasn't right that I posted it.

If both of you were going to take it down and you're trying to use that as a reason why we should not support her, then why should we support you either?

Well, I read the log and I was like "Null attacks servers" and was like "Let's see what Crimson has to say about her condoning this". Then I read Crimson's replies and all went pretty clear to me and I understand her incorrect but human reaction at the moment.

However, I haven't seen you apoligies to Xwis for actively getting script kiddies to attack Xwis at the time.

I also note that you have no alternative at all to give. As Dotile stated you need to:

1. Proove the existing isn't good -> hasn't really been done, except for some mud throwing but you haven't actually shown that this community is better off without Crimson in the lead

2. Give a worthy alternative -> haven't seen any. Who could take over?

What you have done is start a discussion where some side elements did draw the attention of some people who ask those side elements to be solved so Crimson (not someone else) can better these forums, namely more moderators, ...

I don't think this topic needs closing, most topics don't need closing. What it needs is a split of spamposts to a split topic. Wink

null, when you trim the bullshit off what you say, you get this:

null, with the bullshit trimmed

Crimson isn't a good community leader, because she doesn't do enough for the community, ignoring the fact that she already dedicates an enormous amount of time and money while still managing to have a life. XWIS is a terrible, no good, very bad WOL clone, because it has no support for "BattleClans", ignoring the fact that the servers are stable and the bantools work well. I have alternatives, but they all suck. The fact that they suck is irrelevent. Her mods are too powerful, corrupt, and lack qualification, even though I've not once witnessed an act of mod abuse on her Renegade server, or her IRC channel, or on her forums.

For all your bitching, I hear nothing more but "CRIMSON SUX! N00BSTORIES SUX! BHS SUX! XWIS SUX! MAKE ME AND MY FRIENDS COMMUNITY LEADERS!".

Therefore, null, I submit that you, not Crimson, is the one who sucks.

Go away.

My bad. You're right. I checked and you never said that to my knowledge, so I removed it.

You did, however, miss the point of everything I just said.

To head off the inevitable complaint:

Just because the thread has run its course does not mean it NEEDS to be locked. Locking is simply for preventing a topic from being posted in, due to some improper incident. If its simply that people want the topic to not continue, simply stop posting.

Wow, I can't belive someone said clanwars.cc could provide better support than xwis or bhs.....

Although I admint there not the 2 most active organiztation as they could be, BHS has done wayyyyy more for this community than clanwars.cc can even dream about accomplishing.

P.S If you haven't noticed, even in the name they are geared towards only to clans. Theres more to ren than clans....

If you're going to reply to my posts, you could at least take the time to read them.

Nowhere did I say Clanwars.cc should run Renegade instead of BHS or XWIS. I also didn't say we've done more for the community in general. The only part we're interested in is its clan aspect, and this brings me to my point (which you completely misunderstood, so read it slowly and carefully this time):

Clanwars.cc is by far the most suitable party to run Renegade's CLAN LADDER. Not the primary WOL or what used to be WOL, not Renguard, not anything more than Renegade's clan ladder.

Get it now or are you still in your own alternate frame of logic?

Quote:

I've seen Spoony make numerous topics about the league and almost all of them seem to have been ignored..

Quoted for truth, which if anything illustrates my point about how we seem to be the only ones who actually give enough of a damn to provide clan support to Renegade... you ask a question about the league to a Clanwars.cc admin, you usually get an answer the same day. Compare that to the nine months straight where clans have been ignored by everyone else other than Clanwars.cc. Proves my point better than I ever could.

Quote:

Leagues in general are just lol to begin with, but leagues for a dead game that's extremely unbalanced, buggy, and not user-friendly is even more lol than that.

You were over the moon when we announced we also supported clan gaming for Red Alert: A Path Beyond... as for the top level of play, i.e. small clan games, the game is balanced (with the exception of maybe two maps which nobody even plays, for that exact reason) and the only noteworthy bug is bluescreening, which is no more problematic than it is in RA:APB.

Oh come on people! How can you not realise from looking at this thread that these forums are out of control!
Every second post is a typical Renegade Forums insult like "go fuck yourself".

That whole xptek vs z310 thing... On every other forum I know, crap like that is deleted.

Nobody wants to read other peoples stupid fights like:
"Cheer up emo kid."
"Ahem? I'm not fucking emo you dickhead. Go fuck yourself."

And especially when they start fighting in size-28 bold... http://www.renegadeforums.com/images/message_icons/icon13.gif

You have to skim over at least 10 posts of trash before you find something meaningful... And it's the same in every thread on this forum!

You moderators need to crack down on stuff like this. If someone calls you a "forum nazi", ban them - they're the type of people no-one wants here.

This forum really needs some more moderation. Dont Get It
