Still, BHS != n00bstories. You can bitch about the n00bstories ops all you want, but that still doesn't change the fact that they have NOTHING to do with Renegade and XWIS. If XWIS was to relinquish their support for Renegade, BHS would (attempt to) take over it... not n00bstories.

whoa.

I'm the highest ranking active member behind Crimson for n00bstories... and I'm not part of BHS. Neither are ANY of the other admins at n00bstories. I think you logic is a little fucked. Sorry, try again.

You are way off here:

BHS Staff:
  • mac - Halfop in IRC but never uses it. No moderator access in n00bstories Renegade server, no moderator/admin access in n00bstories forums.
  • Crimson - Me.
  • Blazer - To be fair, since he is my boyfriend and lives with me, he is obviously involved in both sites, though I wouldn't say he uses his acces much (luv2pb can verify this).
  • Scorpio9a - not a staff member (but he was helping with coding for a short time), doesn't visit #n00bstories IRC channel
  • jonwil - Is not and has never been a staff member of n00bstories.
  • Silent Kane - Op in IRC, moderator in server.
  • inetknght - Halfop in IRC, sometimes get temp-mod in server.
  • v00d00 - Is not and has never been a staff member of n00bstories.

So, out of 8 current active members, we have 3 legitimate overlaps (Me, Blazer, and SK).

Out of the n00bstories staff (I'm only counting server admins and site moderators/admins), we have...
  • Site Admins
  • Crimson - Me
  • Blazer - BHS director
  • Javaxcx - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Aurora - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Espion - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Server Admins
  • luv2pb - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Havocide3 - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • try_lee - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • warranto - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Gizbotvas - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • flipdis - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • jarhead57 - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • spotelmo - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Operators in #n00bstories
  • Ice - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Aircraftkiller - Was a part of BHS for a short time, but we know how that worked out
  • Jadame_Tamuli - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • Silent_Kane - Is a member of BHS
  • Doitle - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • JeffLee67 - Is not and has never been a part of BHS
  • HTMLGOD - Is not and has never been a part of BHS

So 3 overlaps out of 20 staff members.

Sure, guys, I can see why you'd think n00bstories and BHS are the same thing. Those 3 overlaps are really convincing, especially since one of them is my boyfriend!

Wow, I can't belive someone said clanwars.cc could provide better support than xwis or bhs.....

Although I admint there not the 2 most active organiztation as they could be, BHS has done wayyyyy more for this community than clanwars.cc can even dream about accomplishing.

P.S If you haven't noticed, even in the name they are geared towards only to clans. Theres more to ren than clans....

Spoony was asking for clan support.. not anything more than that. He's not trying to put clanwars.cc in competition with BHS by saying its better to handle WOL or anything like that.. Right now, there is NOTHING and NOONE with a good ladder giving clan support for Renegade besides clanwars.cc. At clanwars.cc they have people whose jobs are specifically for maintaining the league, while with the WOL/XWIS clan ladder there is almost no support for the ladder.
I think that you misunderstood their posts and should read them again..
I've seen Spoony make numerous topics about the league and almost all of them seem to have been ignored..

OR, it could be a couple of other reasons.

I do believe that all the moderators work, and don't have the time or ability to babysit the forums.

or

There is no reason to lock a forum after the first person detracts from the main topic. Most die out within a few days, or it takes a few days for the person to respond, for whatever the reason.

If people are willing to discuss this, then there should be no reason (based on this idea alone) as to why it should be locked.

"null" may be attacking the forum administration et al., but that simple fact by itself is no reason to lock it, or it would have been done as soon as it was open. "null" has done nothing, yet, to warrant this being locked. There has not been enough detraction from the main topic (excessive spam, perhaps, but it relates to the topic being discussed) and as such, there is no real valid point to lock it other than a few of you desiring it to be locked.

Only the few anti-NS/BHS/Crimson idiots would think that, and who really cares that they think? They're a minority, and they certainly don't represent the opinion of these forums.

Anybody with a credit card can do that.
You have to have dedication to run a community.

Hey i did not say it was not possible im saying she is the only one doing it. Shit go host your own and if they like it better they will flock there dont ask the only one doing anything to just quit thats asking to get a bomb sent to your house.
