Do we get that many threads that they must be separated? I don't see us discussing much about Renegade these days. Most things having to do with Renegade are best suited for the other forums like Tactics and Strategies or any of the support forums.
I'm the bawss.

I am assuming "everything" is that you think I am a failure. Do you care to explain why that is?

TO REITTERATE: THIS IS THE INTERNET, Z310. STOP TAKING IT SO SERIOUSLY. IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE MORE OF A FUCKWIT THAN USUAL. IN OTHER NEWS, IF YOU ACTUALLY KNEW WHAT CONDESCENDING MEANT AND READ SOME OF YOUR LOGS YOU WOULD SEE THAT YOUR PREVIOUS POST IS IN FACT INCORRECT. I'M SO FUCKING GLAD YOU'RE TOO POOR TO AFFORD AN SA ACCOUNT.
To those of you that aren't z310 and were forced to read that: Sorry, kid is annoying. He cries one minute complaining how he makes an ass out himself then gets riled up over a forum post.
Can someone close this fascinating topic already? This is like a boring version of the Dragonade incident.

Nobody here cares, Ty. Also, sslice is never condescending toward me and I've never seen him acting that way toward you. If he is/was, then I'll apologize, but I'm sure you asked for it.
Please get back on topic. If you have anything to say to me, then say it to me personallly (via AIM, MSN, etc.).

TYVM for calling me an idiot for trying to defend myself! And I'm sorry about this "treat"; I already apologized to Crimson for the spam.

This was my statement:

When it happens, I'll admit I'm wrong. Until it happens, if it ever does, I'm right. Sorry.
Since I became a Clanwars.cc staff member (summer 2005?) there hasn't been a two-day stretch where our league wasn't being constantly supported, constantly evolving to the needs of Renegade in regards to clan support. On the other hand, since October 2005, the "official" Renegade ladder has had, wait for it, nothing. No one overseeing it at all, not to mention the fact it doesn't even work.
I posed this question about the "official" Renegade ladder.
"Let's say I played a clanwar on the "official" league. What are the rules? What if someone breaks them, or outright cheats against me? How would I report that, and who to? Could I get the game removed/fixed? Would they receive a penalty?"
It's been nearly three weeks and nobody seems able to answer it. You've got a choice between a league run by professionals, constantly updating and improving, and sponsored by EA.... or nothing. I'm sorry, but choosing the nothing is madness. Again, I invite anybody here to prove me wrong about this: show me a Renegade ladder that's a quarter as good as Clanwars.cc's, let alone better.
Your thread is basically about how the most competent/suitable people should handle Renegade. Well, speaking of Renegade's clan support, we at Clanwars.cc are not only the most competent and suitable people, we're also the only people, and for the third time let me say I'd love to be proved wrong on that point.

All we need is Crimson to be more active as well as the moderators. A topic to ban Sensitive was made (for ban evading), and I only saw the results a while after.
---
The entire General Discussions seem to be a flame feast. For example: Remember its Nod, NOT NOD. Its a pointless post and the newcomers get flamed for it.
eg:
"Remember, it's useless grammar usage, not uslez gramr uzuge."
"Remember, it's grammar, not spelling."
Is there any point to these posts? No.
---
Also, the amount of times a forum goes off-topic from what is was originally is enormous. The only forum that is really control is the mod forum, though even that recently is being to change.
eg:
The C&C Far-cry topic, the topic goes off by someone posting "rectum".
---
I remember when I first joined, it was a nice welcoming community with open arms, now closed.
Let all your wishes be granted except one, so you will still have something to strieve for.

This is an exemple of where clearing out this treat would be helpful. I'm sure you could find some trusted moderators, though it might take some time. Maybe you should look for people who have some previous moderating experience (on other forums or such) and who most of all are active.

sounds like someone is volunteering? don't you have enough to do as it is gozy?
but I do agree some moderation could help improve these forums a lot...
