nice program

maybe you can tell me what i am doin wrong

i installed RG - and i get this (see image) then i figured maybe i got too much junk in ren .. so i completely uninstall it - clear my registry and then reinstall renegade

test it - get the update - play 20 seconds in a game

then i go to RG site and dl RG

install it- click on Renegade and i get the same error ( see image again)

any clues gents

i am runnin nortons 06 - windows firewall is disabled - and yes i double checked nortons to make sure it wasnt blockin RG index.php?t=getfile&id=1166&private=0

now i cant install it - lol nice index.php?t=getfile&id=1168&private=0

I had same problem. I know it.

Last march 2006 till now. No-one help me. I very unhappy renguard staff. No-one help you. You can't fix it. Renguard always trouble! Angry

Forgive me, but it's relatively hard to help someone when you don't know what's causing the crash.

It's a long shot, but could the both of you (~~ALERT~~ and HTGunny) send me more information regarding the crash?

Specifically I'll need the information outlined in blue, and the files pointed to by the red arrows, as per this example:

In order for me to get RG to work i would of had to reformated my computor - which i truely didnt want to do -

so last night i formated - reinstalled windows and renegade - then installed RG - removed all the cute models i had and joined the Xphaze server - !RG myself as a few others did an i got it running

hurray for me lol

i hung around for a bit an talked to a few on irc to show that i got rg runnin finaly - then shut down

well this morning i finished installin all the updates for windows and loaded a few other games

i went to play renegade and once again i got the same stupid errors in RG that stoped me from installin it in the first place

any an all help in this would be nice

Could be a windows update that knocked it down? Or an incompatibility with another game? :-S

You'd have to install all updates and games 1 by 1 and each time run renguard to know which is the evil one :-S. That's a very big job...
