My good friend Ikaika just got up a sniping server for GSA. Well everything works well, so far all is installed on it is the server itself and Vloktboky's SsSniperMod.
The problem is whenever somebody tries joining with TFD version od Renegade they get a 'CD Authentication check failed' message.
This only happens when they try to join his server, any thughts?
Oh and another thing, I know he is using an FDS and not hosting a game via Renegade..... but for some strange reason his SFPS gets up to 62. Is it possible he doesn't have the right version of the FDS? My only thought, he said he did but you never know.

GSA apparently doesn't have the TFD serials in its database (EA made the same mistake twice). On the other hand, it is perfectly normal to see an SFPS of 61 or 62 every now or then on the WFDS.

Check the stickies in L-FDS subforum, there's a server side fix so the server wouldn't search for the serial hash.
And yes, it is very annoying.
