Yep, Nintendo just announced that they renamed their console to "Wii", pronounced "We".

It's not a rename, actually. Revolution was just a codename. I agree though, wii is definetly an odd name, even if they explained its meaning quite well.

That's entirely true, because the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 will (like usual) dominate anything Nintendo releases. So they can name it wiin0r if they want to, they're still going to have no market dominance.

Except that most(hint: I didn't say all) games that come out on PS3 and Xbox360 are released on all platforms. Most people that buy a Nintendo will buy it for the Nintendo only games.
