The glitch where I cannot use a PT without first throwing a timed c4 on myself (only way to keep your money).

Strange, I have never experienced this bug untill this year, and I played Renegade since the demo came out.

It happens after you are dumped from a game, and then rejoin. I guess there has been a large number of disconnections here lately.

I meant that I would have liked the ability of customizable sounds, or more preferrably, different Renguard-created ones to choose from. The existing ones aren't bad.

People who !force rg me for killing them...because they walked into my artillery shell while I was protecting a nuke. People will !force rg me for anything. Here are some of the reasons:
-(some curses first) killed me
- mining the tunnels (my team and theirs)
- I'm in the game and don't have RenGuard
- They felt like it
- SBH sniping
- Killing their SBH by spotting with scope
- Destroying their buildings
- Stealing their tanks (enemy tanks)
- Grabbing the crate before they do
- When I don't donate to them
- When I don't do what they tell me to (like repair them when one of my team's structures is about to die)
- For spotting a stank rush and not saying the side (because I didn't know the side)
- For suggesting that we use a stank rush
- For ignoring someone who was cursing at me
- I killed them with my pistol (when they had 5hp)
- I had 5000 credits from being in the game and repairing
- I killed their friend
- Because their friend told them to
Is there a way to prevent abuse of !force rg? I don't cheat, and they know it, but they abuse the function. And our Admin does not allow us to install RenGuard anyhow.

Install Renguard anyway, find a server with more intelligent owners. Crimson and Goztow are my suggestions (n00bstories, and theKoss, respectively).

The admin of a Renegade server, will not let you use Renguard?

The Admin/owner of the computers that I play on will not allow me to install anything that can give outsiders access to the computers or access to the processes running on the computers.

My computer sucks, so I use someone elses. (My computer is around 7 years old.) Unfortunately, that someone else is a bit paranoid, and has his credit card info stored in his computers. But then, I'm not sure I'd be too comfortable with a program that could spy on me in my computer.

Explain to him that Renguard is a program designed to prevent hacking and that the game itself leaves your computer more vulnerable to attack than without Renguard. Not all of this is 100% true (83.2714%. I did the math.  ), but who cares? You want to play, right?

very few people work as part of a team.
cheaters and when admins do nothin about them.
n00bs,who dont understand tactics and patience.
there are only a few players that i hav met that work as part of a team, they are very good players that have realised that teamworks is essential for victory. where as others dont wanna listen or take orders and think they can do it all themselves.

Heh, you aren't the only one who does that...I've been a Mr. Fix It since Ren came out.  The only times I won't give up my upper-tier char for even a basic engineer is when the HoN/Barracks is dead and I'm using an anti-vehicle class, or if I just happen to be in a vehicle. In either case, I'm of more value killing whatever is doing the damage, but otherwise the loss of a 1000 cred char for a free engi isn't any trouble. No point worrying about it when everything just resets next round anyhow.
A few things really piss me off in Ren: n00bjets and people who get out of their vehicles in the middle of the field. Nothing says "hey, steal my tank" like an empty damn tank. If you don't have repair support, either pull back to your base to heal or bite the fucking bullet. In all my time playing Ren, I've yet to have my vehicle pinched by the bad guys, but I see it happening to others all the time (when I can actually get online, thanks be to this shitball campus network). Even if your vehicle isn't stolen by marauding infantry, you're likely to get popped by a sniper, leaving your teammates to divert their attention from shooting the enemy to cleaning up your mess. It's just not worth it.
Even worse: stickheads who use tanks to infiltrate the enemy base. They drive up to the PP, the HoN, the Refinery, whatever...then they just get out to lay C4 while the tank sits there just inviting someone to come along and grab it. It's bad enough seeing a Hummer/Buggy or an APC swiped after a raid gone bad, but a tank is just fucking ridiculous. And don't even get me started on people who do stupid shit like that with other peoples' vehicles...

i s'pose it doesnt even occur to the ppl who drive to the pp or ref or whatever in tanks and apcs,to hav a second person in the vec to stop the enemy to take it.
i also hate it when your team has decided to stank or med rush the enemy and some noob in your team decidees to buy an mrls/orca or humvee. it lowers your vec limit and will mean you will have less tanks for teh rush.
tank stealers..people who steal your tank in your base. n00bs.
people who dont mine as well. i told a player to make sure to mine both sides of teh agt on hourglass. he didnt. others said it was useless. guess what? the enemy rushed us and with no mines shbs,stanks and flamers just walked into our base.every time. it was hard enough to kill them off. and we lost the game.
oh and people who dont donate. if your team needs an extra 20 or 100 creds for an ion or vec, why not give them it? it could do them more use then you. help your team out. it helps.

Getting !forcerg'ed by a mod because he thinks he's all that, and once I kill him, I must be cheating. There's no way possible there is anyone better than him. At least its funny coming back with RG and still owning him. 
Being accused of cheating whenever I headshot people with tanks. Just because it might be hard headshotting a PIC or Rav shooting you doesn't mean its impossible.
Being accused of having a magical lag cheat where I can make other people lag at a whim, even in their own server.
People who think they are the best at Renegade and anyone who is better than them is cheating.
People who flip my apache while I'm inside repairing the airstrip after killing the hottie that was inside of it because they want to buy a vehicle.

It's pretty easy to see why people would be reluctant to fork over credits, even if it is a nice and helpful thing to do. You really do never know how much good the person is going to do with it- and I have donated 500+ creds to folks just to have them get blasted 5 feet outside the base because they weren't being careful. Anymore, I like to wait a round before donating to anyone, just so I can get a feel for who could make the best use of it (if someone gets MVP then asks for creds, for example, it's probably worth lending them a hand...but if someone is consistently rambo rushing and dying, you ought to save it for your own needs). In general, though, if you have extra credits that you don't need, by all means- give them to someone who'll put them to some use, especially in the late game when you could easily have enough for an extra tank or two.

a few more additions.
loading the pistol after a re-spawn. It's not that bad, just sometimes I don't have time to wait for it to load, then switch back to my repair gun. So, I just select the pistol and jump in say an arty. When I jump out to repair, I end up bustin a cap in its ass.
The stupid delay when tossing c4. It seems erratic too, sometimes it's ready sometimes you have a delay.

Another thing I hate, although rare, is being sent to blue hell during a rush because I hit the enemy harvester or someone else's vehicle at the wrong angle, especially when I'm in the version of blue hell that gives me 2 FPS. Having to quit and restart Renegade to fix it is really annoying.

I made my own sig and avatar with C&C95, Fraps, and Adobe ImageReady. Not too difficult, but a bit time consuming to get the screenshots timed just right. Playing the game to make them provided some good nostalgia, so afterward, I finished the entire game except for the last three Nod missions over the next few days. Good times.
